Practical apartment-buying guide

Compare apartments with the same budget

A meaningful comparison uses the same financial profile and required criteria for every favourite. A lower price alone does not necessarily mean more affordable housing.

Use consistent assumptions

Apply the same interest rate, mortgage term, minimum reserve, and cost rules. Otherwise you are comparing different scenarios rather than apartments.

Compare unknowns too

A lower known total may look better only because insurance, building contributions, or renovation scope is missing. Unknown items must stay visible.

Simple example

Apartment A costs 200,000 CZK less but needs a 450,000 CZK renovation. With the same profile, it may therefore require more cash than apartment B.

Frequently asked questions

How many apartments should I compare at once?

Two or three favourites are usually enough for a practical decision. Add the same key inputs for each one.

Does BytScore choose a winner?

No. It shows differences, constraints, and facts to verify. Legal status, technical checks, and personal preferences remain with you and qualified professionals.
